KELLY
NEWS AND UPDATES
Emmanuel Kelly’s life is a powerful story of resilience and impact. Found as a baby on an Iraqi battlefield and raised in a Baghdad orphanage, his life changed when humanitarian Moira Kelly brought him to Australia for life-saving surgery. At eighteen, he shot to global fame performing John Lennon’s Imagine on The X Factor, amassing over 500 million views and sparking collaborations with stars Quincy Jones, Snoop Dogg, and JK Simmons. In 2024, he became the first physically differently-abled artist to perform in stadiums, opening for Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres Tour. His single “My Sky” drew 30 million views on TikTok, his limited vinyl EP No Zodiac reached No. 3 in the vinyl charts, and Rolling Stone named it one of Australia’s Top Ten releases. Spotify recognised him as one of the Top 30 most globally influential Australian artists, cementing his place as a voice for inclusion and change. In 2025, Emmanuel became the first differently-abled artist to perform on the main stage at one of the UK’s biggest festivals, the Isle of Wight Festival, before going on to headline at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe and the Peace One Day concert at Wembley Arena.
DREAM FEVER is an emotionally charged 90-minute documentary that intimately captures Emmanuel’s extraordinary journey. A boy born different, now a man determined to make a difference, his story is one of resilience, hope, and the power of the human spirit. The film charts how Emmanuel set out to change the way people see the OUTLYERS of the world - beginning, prophetically, with his rendition of “Imagine” on a talent show stage, and tracing his rise to global influence. At its heart is Emmanuel’s close friendship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, a bond that ultimately led to Emmanuel joining the band as their headline opening act on the biggest rock tour of all time making history as the first differently-abled artist to perform to stadium crowds around the world.
